Ladysmith Opens Doors

List of Existing Industries
Industrial Incentive Scheme

Ladysmith is ideally situated, nearly halfway between South Africa's key domestic markets in Gauteng and major export harbour in Durban. The N3 national road provides easy access to neighbouring provinces.
An industrial and commercial centre, Ladysmith rests on the open flood planes of the Klip River in the foothills of the mighty Drakensberg. It forms a natural gateway to many mountain resorts set in some of the most scenic areas in the country. Ladysmith forms the heart of the KwaZulu Natal Battlefields Route which covers several wars such as the Anglo-Boer and Anglo Zulu Wars.

Ladysmith enjoys virtually perfect climatic conditions which its cosmopolitan population takes great pleasure in.

Residential areas are situated well away from the busy commercial and industrial centres to ensure quiet and pleasant living conditions.

Ladysmith offers several industrial areas, the largest being the Ithala Industrial Estate a short distance from the CBD. Factories are readily available. Industrial stand sizes vary from 2 000 to 8 000 square metres. Subdivision and stands sizes can be negotiated to meet your particular requirements.

Ladysmith has a well- established commercial and social infrastructure. The Local Council sees itself as an active business partner. The trust instilled through our exceptional pre and post establishment service is evident in the high percentage of investor retention. Our ever-increasing Far Eastern family growing day by day, confirms this.

Ladysmith is alive and thriving. It has retained its pleasant country atmosphere with little of the hustle and bustle expected of an industrial giant.

Ladysmith opens doors!
